Step 1 - Apply using your hands, in smooth, sweeping motions and rub in thoroughly Step 2 - Lightly smooth over dry areas such as hands, elbows, knees and feet. These areas tend to be a bit drier so need less product. Don’t apply the cream directly to these areas, but spread onto these areas once you have applied to the rest of the body Step 3 - Wash hands after use particularly between fingers Step 4 - Wait for skin to be touch dry before dressing Top tip – after washing hands use a large make up brush to apply to the back of the hands. Colour develops over 3-4 hours. Use for 1-3 days to achieve your desired glow, the simply top up when you like. Or, if you want a deeper tan more quickly, apply every few hours.

"Day 3 is the magic number. Great even tan. My skin feels soft and even has a healthy shine to it. The tan fades gradually over a week. I usually apply for 3 days leave it 4-5 and apply again for 3. It’s only downfall is its price tag. But if you can afford it it’s the best I’ve tried. I started off buying the small tube which did 2, 3 day applications, I’d say buy that first."
"I have always struggled with using self tan, because of the smell, patchy look and orangy colour. Gatineau is different. The smell is gorgeous, it gives nice, warm olive tone colour and it wash out evenly. I know that it's a bit pricey but your skin feels hydrated so it also works as moisturiser. Highly recommend it! It's not over the top in building a tan so I don't feel like I've spontaneously turned orange but have that gradual glow. It does sometimes leave plain streaks where clothes have been worn tight but otherwise perfect for the job."

With this u literally just use like a standard moisturiser, no exfoliating, avoiding oil based products, I just shower and use. "I’m very impressed with this product. It goes on nicely, produces a lovely colour after just one application and you can build the colour up. It’s not thick and dries quickly. Beautiful golden colour and very natural. It doesn’t stain and is not messy to apply. No need to apply extra moisturiser as it moisturises the skin too. Nothing negative to say about this product. No horrible after smell, sink into skin well and leaves it hydrated, great buildable colour. I always use a buff mitt after and have never had any weird lines, it's so easy to put on and very buildable. Highly recommend."
"I have tried a lot of self tanning products…. I am fair and burn easily and don’t like sun exposure so am always looking for a product to give me a summer glow without the biscuit smell! The Gatineau golden glow is it. I had a trial with the small tube and quickly purchased the large pump dispensed cream. It absorbs quickly, there is a slight odour as the colour develops but it is subtle and not distracting unlike other self tanners. I apply 1 x day for 3 days then top up every 2-3 and it maintains a streak free glow all summer. I’ve stopped my search and am really happy with this product. It’s a little pricy hit worth it."
