From their campaigns to their services, the NSPCC has been protecting children for over 140 years, and we’re delighted to be supporting them with their mission to end child abuse and neglect.

The NSPCC is the UK’s leading children’s charity, specialising in child protection and dedicated to protecting children today and preventing abuse tomorrow. The NSPCC are the only UK children’s charity with statutory powers, which means they can take action to safeguard children at risk of abuse.

NSPCC prevent abuse from happening through pioneering community projects, including Speak out, Stay safe workshops, where they visit primary schools across the country to help children recognise the signs of abuse and understand where to go for help.

NSPCC protect children at risk with Childline and NSPCC Helpline. Childline is a confidential 24-hour service that gives children somewhere to turn and
the NSPCC Helpline is there for adults who are concerned about a child.

NSPCC transform society and help to rebuild the lives of children who have been abused.
Through their UK-wide network of service hubs, they deliver therapeutic services to enable children to move on from abuse, as well as providing resources and support for parents and families. They also campaign and lobby for governments to change laws and strive to keep children safe online.

HOW DONATIONS ARE SPENT

•£4 could help NSPCC answer a child’s call for help to Childline
•£26 could pay for a Helpline practitioner for one hour, providing vital
help and support to adults concerned about a child’s welfare
•£850 could pay to recruit and train a new Childline volunteer
•£16,000 could pay to run the NSPCC Helpline for one day
•£40,000 could pay for a Helpline practitioner for a year, providing vital
help and support to adults concerned about a child’s welfare
