There’s nothing quite like the post-facial glow you get after a spa visit. But who says you have to leave your home or spend a fortune to get that fresh, luminous skin? With the right steps and a few key products, you can treat yourself to a spa-worthy facial in your own bathroom. So, grab your fluffy headband, light a candle, play some relaxing music and let’s get glowing with this simple step by step all from the comfort of home – this is your time to unwind.

Gentle Silk Cleanser & Toner Duo

STEP 1: Double Cleanse like a pro

Start with a milky cleanser to dissolve makeup, sunscreen, and excess oil. Follow with a hydrating toner and complete your double cleanse with a water-based or foaming cleanser to wash away sweat, dirt, and any remaining residue left behind. Think of it as giving your face a fresh canvas —like a clean white T-shirt, but for your skin.  Now your skin is prepped and ready for all the subsequent products you are about to apply.

STEP 2: Exfoliate and send dead skin cells packing.

Time to buff away dullness and dead skin like it’s last season’s trend. Exfoliation is key to glowing skin. It sloughs off dead skin cells, unclogs pores, and allows your serums and moisturisers to penetrate more effectively. Choose a chemical (fruit acid) exfoliant over a mechanical (granular) one as they are gentler on skin, give more even results and boosts long-term skin health.

STEP 3: Massage with a Gua Sha tool and release facial tension.

Using a Gua Sha tool during your at-home facial is a total game-changer—it helps reduce puffiness, lift and sculpt the face, boost circulation, and gives you that post-facial glow. Apply a few drops of Facial Oil and follow these simple movements.

1.    Start with the Neck

  • Use the curved edge and glide upward from your collarbone to your jawline.

2.    Define the Jawline

  • Use the V-shaped edge and sweep from the centre of your chin out toward your ears.

3.    Contour the Cheeks

  • Use the flat or slightly curved side.
  • Start at the sides of your nose and sweep out toward the temples.

4.    Depuff the Eyes

  • Use the smaller curve or tip.
  • Glide gently from the inner corner of the under-eye area outward—this helps reduce puffiness and refresh tired eyes.

5.    Lift the Brow Area

  • Glide from the start of your brow outward toward the hairline.
  • Use a gentle upward motion.

6.    Smooth the Forehead

  • Use long strokes from the centre of your forehead outward toward the temples, then upward toward your hairline.

STEP 4: Brush on a Face Mask and wrap skin in decadence.

Apply a deeply hydrating and skin plumping face mask and leave on for 10-15 minutes while you relax to instantly revive, smooth, and moisturise your complexion.  Rinse any excess and tone and blot skin dry.

STEP 5: Add in an Essence for a gulp of hydration.

Essences are often the unsung heroes of skincare routine. While they might seem optional at first glance, they pack a surprising punch when it comes to hydration, glow, and helping your other products work better. Pat a few drops into dry skin.

STEP 6: Apply your Serum for intense skin therapy.

Serums are a skincare superhero for a reason. They are packed with potent, targeted ingredients like hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, niacinamide and peptides, in much higher concentrations than moisturisers. That means they deliver real results faster and more effectively. Apply 2–3 drops and gently press into your skin.

STEP 7: Tap in an Eye Cream for bright eyed vibes.

The skin around your eyes is delicate and often the first area to show fatigue or ageing. A good eye cream can hydrate, depuff, and brighten. Use your ring finger to gently tap the product around the orbital bone.

STEP 8: Moisturise

Lock it all in with a moisturiser that makes your skin feel like it’s wrapped in a cashmere sweater. Massage it in with upward strokes and allow to absorb. Even if your skin is oily, don’t skip this step—a properly moisturised face glows with health.

Final Glow Tip

For that final glow, swap out your daily serum for a swipe of Golden Glow Gradual Tan Face Serum and watch your skin transform into a sun-kissed radiance in just a few hours—no sun required!

Giving yourself an at-home facial isn’t simply good for your skin—it’s a beautiful ritual and a simple act of self-love that your skin will thank you for.
