The science of skin renewal

When it comes to exfoliation, our philosophy has never been simply about removing dead skin cells. This natural process begins deep within the epidermis, where new skin cells are constantly being formed before gradually moving towards the surface and eventually being shed. In younger skin, this renewal cycle takes around 28 days but as skin matures, this process can slow considerably, taking around 40–60 days.
